No. 4 — Redshirt junior offensive tackle Bobby Evans

Bobby Evans is expected to draw the challenging assignment in 2018 of replacing Sooner All-American Orlando Brown at left tackle, the position on the offensive line that protects a right-handed throwing quarterback’s blind side. Both of the Sooners’ two-deep QBs next season (Kyler Murray and Austin Kendall) are right-handed.

The Sooners featured one of the country’s best offensive lines a year ago, and offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh called Evans the most consistent performer of the bunch.

The 6-foot, 5-inch, 300-pound Evans started all 14 Oklahoma games last season. He will be filling huge shoes, both literally and figuratively, in replacing Brown, but the Oklahoma coaches are very confident Evans will get the job done.
