No. 7 — Sophomore wide receiver CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee Lamb returns for his second season at Oklahoma after a stellar freshman campaign. The 6-foot, 2-inch, 189-pound wide receiver started 13 of 14 games for the Sooners last season.

He caught 46 passes for 807 receiving yards and averaged 17.5 yards per catch, which ranked third nationally. Lamb’s 807 receiving yards set a new freshman receiving record at OU and his 46 catches were the second most ever by an OU freshman.

In the Sooners’ 49-27 win over Texas Tech last season, Lamb caught a career-high nine passes for 147 yards, both OU single-game records, and two touchdowns. His seven touchdown grabs for the season tied an Oklahoma freshman record.

Against Georgia last season in the College Football Playoff semifinals, Lamb made six receptions for 66 yards and completed a touchdown pass to Baker Mayfield on a trick play.

Named a freshman All-American last season by ESPN, Lamb was voted honorable mention by the Big 12 coaches for Offensive Freshman of the Year.
