No. 8 – DT Tony Casillas, No. 2 overall pick, 1986 NFL Draft

Tony Casillas was the No. 2 player taken overall in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft. Bo Jackson of Auburn was the top overall pick that year. Casillas was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons.

A native Oklahoman (born in Tulsa) Casillas was a two-time All-American at Oklahoma. He spent his first five seasons in the NFL with the Falcons. In 1992, he became a member of the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent three seasons. In 1994-95, he played for the New York Jets. He returned to Dallas in 1996, where he spent the final two seasons of a 12-year NFL career.

He was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team in his inaugural pro season in 1986 and was named All-Pro with Atlanta in 1989.
