#2 – Florida 84, Oklahoma 52, Jan. 28, 2017, in Norman

Oklahoma was the host team for a Big 12/SEC Challenge matchup with No. 25 Florida, but that didn’t seem to matter because the Gators rolled into town and owned the Sooners from start to finish in this one.

The Sooners managed just eight field goals in the first half and shot a pathetic 24 percent, including 0 for 6 from behind the three-point arc. It was probably fortunate that OU didn’t trail by more than the 15 points it did after the first 20 minutes.

It didn’t get any better in the second half. The Sooners shot better in the second half, but they didn’t score as many points and ended up on the wrong end of an 84-52 rout. Rashard Odomes was high man for OU in the scoring column with a mere 13 points.

Florida got the best of Oklahoma in practically every statistical category in this game.

It was a very disappointing performance from a Sooner team that had defeated then-No. 7 West Virginia at West Virginia just 10 days before.
