Former Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford reportedly is unhappy in Philadelphia and has asked the Eagles management to trade him.

The Eagles’ starting quarterback played in 14 games last season and had his best season as a pro, completing 65 percent of his passes for 3,725 yards, 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. The Eagles were 7-7 in the games Bradford started.

According to a story reported on Monday by ESPN.com. Bradford is very upset that the Eagles completed a trade with the Cleveland Browns last week to move up in the pecking order and acquire the No. 2 overall pick in this week’s NFL Draft, which they are expected to use to draft a quarterback: either Jared Goff from the University of California or Carson Wentz from North Dakota State, believed to be the top two quarterbacks available in the 2016 draft.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, is demanding to be traded and says he will not show up for any of Philadelphia’s offseason activities.

Bradford resigned with the Eagles in early March, agreeing to a two-year, $36 million contract, with $22 million of that guaranteed. The Eagles also signed former Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Chase Daniel to a free-agent contract valued at $21 million over two years.

The Eagles insist that Bradford is the team’s starting quarterback, but the move to acquire the No. 2 draft pick, which appears to be an obvious move to bring in a future franchise quarterback, has shed quite a bit of doubt that Philadelphia is sold on Bradford being their man.

Former Eagles head coach Chip Kelley was the one who wanted Bradford as the starting quarterback, trading with the St. Louis Rams to acquire the former Oklahoma star in March 2015. Kelly was fired after last season, however, and replaced in Philadelphia by Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson (which partially explains how Chase Daniel ended up in Philadelphia).

Bradford is entering his sixth season in the National Football League. He spend four seasons with the St. Louis Rams, who drafted him with the No. 1 overall pick in 2010. The former Sooner was plagued by injuries in three of his final four seasons in St. Louis, suffering two season-ending knee injuries during his time with the Rams.
