Oklahoma Is Playoff-Ready

Simply put, Oklahoma is firing on all cylinders and arguably playing better that anyone else in the country at just the right time. Since the Sooners have wrapped up the conference championship and virtually locked up a playoff spot, they will have until Dec. 31 to heal and get ready for whatever opponent they will encounter in the semifinal matchup.

Right now, the key for Oklahoma is to maintain momentum over the long break, heal up, avoid any practice injuries and keep their edge. But this team’s intangibles, and the manner in which it plays together and maintains focus makes it unlikely that it will falter down the stretch. The 2015 season is special in that it has a great chance to be truly historic once it’s all said and done. These are indeed exciting times for Sooner Nation.
