2013 Stats: 50 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble
All of the defense probably should be up here, but Eric Striker appears to have the most pro potential of anyone.
His speed coming off the edge makes up for his lack of size on a lot offensive lineman. He’s got so much tenacity and passion, which transcends to the rest of his teammates.
Striker maybe should be higher, but this defense is scary good for 2014. They bring back one of the best defensive lines in the country, as well as linebacking corps.
The secondary lost some good ones to graduation, but Zack Sanchez should be able to fill in the shoes and become the leader of the DB’s.
Eric Striker, though, is dang good and Oklahoma would be devastated to see him get hurt. Rumor has it that AJ McCarron still checks under his bed at night for Striker.
Enjoy #19 while you can, Sooner fans. The pro scouts may be calling if Eric Striker continues to wreak havoc upon the Big 12 and the rest of the country.
