Top Five Oklahoma Sooner Running Backs of the BCS Era

One university that has seen consistency in its backfield is Oklahoma. OU’s staff has seen some excellent tailbacks, who have complemented some great quarterback play.

This one was a little easier to do than our quarterbacks countown, at least at the top.

Regardless, the Sooner tailbacks that made the BCS era special made huge plays, put up monster stats, and made us wish there were more opportunities to utilize everyone of them.

Oklahoma always seems loaded, and fan favorites sometimes get lost in the shuffle, because there’s just not enough carries to go around.

However, it was a good problem Oklahoma had, and we’re proud to name our Top Five Running Backs of the BCS Era.
