5. Nate Hybl (2000-2002)

Career Stats: 4,916 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, 58.0 pass completion percentage

Accomplishments: 2002 Rose Bowl Champion, 2002 Big 12 Champion

As the starting quarterback for one of Oklahoma’s BCS Bowl victories, Nate has to be up here. His 2002 campaign is the main reason, defeating the Colorado Buffaloes for the Big 12 title and Washington State for the Rose Bowl.

Hybl’s stats aren’t popping out at anyone. And he had help from a running back by the name of Quentin Griffin. However, Hybl helped sustain Oklahoma’s success in the early 2000’s, which would only continue to grow under Coach Stoops.
