An ESPN 30 for 30 production crew has hit Norman. Apparently, a special on legendary OU head coach Barry Switzer and former Sooner stand out Brian Bosworth will air later in the year.

Who will be included in the film? Well, from the looks of it, head coach Bob Stoops.

The film is currently in production, and not much is really known about the project. However, 30 for 30 rarely ever fails.

If you’re not familiar with ESPN’s 30 for 30 series, it is a series of documentaries covering the spectrum of sports.

This is not the first time Oklahoma has been associated with a 30 for 30 film. If you have kept up with the series, you might remember the documentary The Best That Never Was, which told the story of former OU running back Marcus Dupree.

ESPN’s film crew also gave an “all-access” look at the 2011 Oklahoma Sooners football team’s preseason workouts.

We will release more about the film once it becomes available.
