Rose Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Stanford
How a 7-5 team even as an AQ conference champion is still allowed in a BCS bowl is beyond, but hey, if the Big East can do it, so can the Big Ten. Honestly, I don’t have a whole lot of interest in this game. However, if history has taught us anything, Wisconsin sucks in the Rose Bowl. So with that logic, I’m leaning toward the Cardinal in this one. Score Prediction: Stanford 27, Wisconsin 21

Orange Bowl: Florida State vs. Northern Illinois
It’s a shame OU and Georgia got left out of the BCS party, but let’s the little guy feel good about themselves. Northern Illinois comes in to this one as a heavy underdog as they should. However, this is a Florida State that dropped one to NC State earlier in the year. Though, FSU will have the home state advantage, while NIU promises free tickets to any Husky fans who will actually make the trip to South Beach. I don’t expect much to come from this, so I’ll go with the Seminoles to be safe. Score Prediction: Florida State 42, Northern Illinois 24

Fiesta Bowl: Oregon vs. Kansas State
Probably the most intriguing of the BCS match-ups, besides the National Championship. Two teams that are polar opposites always makes for fun football, though, I give the slight edge that the Ducks offense is a better unit than Kansas State’s defense is as a unit. The Wildcats will pretty much be playing Baylor on steroids, and I can’t see Collin Klein leading the Wildcats in a shootout. Though, the almost did that last season against Oklahoma State. This is Oregon, though, and I have to go with them and their ridiculous uniforms. Score Prediction: Oregon 49, Kansas State 35

Sugar Bowl: Florida vs. Louisville
Such a sad state of affairs that Florida doesn’t get Oklahoma here. However, could Louisville have a chance? I’d like to think so. Florida could end up being uninterested and let this game slip away. Hell, they have their struggles with worse teams, so why can’t the Cardinals give the Gators a run for the money? In the end, I see Florida as the clearly superior team, but I think it may be closer than expected. Score Prediction: Florida 31, Louisville 27

BCS National Championship: Notre Dame vs. Alabama
No one really saw this match-up for the title at the beginning of the year, unless your name is Lou Holtz. Regardless, this is a huge game. Not only from a historical standpoint, but a Notre Dame win would end the reign of terror that is Alabama football. A lot of people would love to tell you the Crimson Tide will roll over the Fighting Irish, but I say, no. Notre Dame has done the impossible this season, and I expect nothing less in this game. The Irish will hoist the crystal ball and take down the tyrannical SEC. Score Prediction: Notre Dame 24, Alabama 21
