A pair of Oklahoma women have earned SEC Gymnast and Freshman of the Week honors.

Fifth-year senior Audrey Davis was named SEC Gymnast of the Week in the gymnastics strong conference, while her OU teammate, Lily Pederson, took home SEC Freshman of the Week honors.

The Sooner pair was prime contributors in top-ranked Oklahoma's victory over No. 10 Missouri on Friday, which was OU's first head-to-head win over another conference opponent as a member of the SEC.

Davis, in her fifth season at OU and the 2024 national champion on uneven bars and the balance beam, recorded a career-best in the all-around competition versus Missouri with a score of 39.725. It was the first time in her decorated career she earned an all-around score of 39.700 or higher.

On the way to the all-around title against Missouri, Davis opened the meet with a season-high 9.925 score on vault and followed that with a 9.95 on bars. She then posted a season-best 9.925 on beam and capped off her competition by earning another 9,925 in floor exercise, tying her career best, in the team's final rotation.

Pederson had career highs in both vault (9.925) and floor (9.900), and finished second to Davis in the all-around with a career-best 39.575.

The Sooners have earned at least one weekly honor in each of the first three weeks of the season, their first as a member of the SEC. This is the first weekly honor this season for Davis, a seven-time NCAA All-American, and the second for Pederson.
