A pair of former Sooners earned the respect of their peers this NFL season.

Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey and Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. were named on the NFLPA's The Players' All-Pro Team, which was released on Wednesday.

The Players' All-Pro Team is voted on by other NFL players. According to the NFLPA website, "We asked players across the league to select who had the most impact this season. The players were tasked with voting for the best player at their same position and positions they line up against."

Players also had to miss less than five games during the season before Week 15 to be considered.

Both Humphrey and Mims were on the First Team. Both were also announced as Pro Bowl selections last week, along with fellow former Oklahoma players Nik Bonitto, Lane Johnson, CeeDee Lamb and Joe Mixon.

Mims earned both honors as a return man, specifically as a punt returner on The Players' All-Pro Team. He led the NFL with 408 punt return yards this season and averaged 15.7 yards a return. He's been dynamic as a receiver, too, with 503 receiving yards and six TDs.

Humphrey has been essential to the Chiefs' 15-2 season as an everyday starter on the offensive line.

Mims and Humphrey both also helped get their respective teams into the NFL playoffs. The Chiefs earned a bye after getting the top seed in the AFC. The Broncos barely got in with the seventh seed at 10-7 and will travel to the Buffalo Bills at noon CT Sunday.

If the Broncos pull off the upset, there's a good chance Humphrey and Mims will meet in the divisional round next week.
