The hate between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns is unmatched.

The No. 6 Sooners and unranked Longhorns met for the 121st time on Saturday at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas. Words and blows are exchanged all game, but tempers flared even before the game kicked off as both teams headed toward the tunnel during pregame.

Oklahoma and Texas get chippy before Red River Rivalry

Media present at the Cotton Bowl said OU defensive tackle David Stone, listed at 6-foot-3 and 310 pounds, was right in the middle stirring the pot during the pregame chaos. Probably not someone to rile up before he tries to come after your quarterback for the next few hours, especially OU leads the country averaging 4.2 sacks a game.

The Sooners got the ball first, and with quarterback John Mateer going out there after a week of questioning his status with a hand injury, they used that charged emotion from pregame to immediately put three points of the board before forcing Texas to punt on the Longhorns' first possession.
