Oklahoma women's basketball coach Jennie Baranczyk pleaded all week for Sooner Nation to pack Lloyd Noble Center for the Sooners' first-round NCAA Tournament game, and the OU faithful listened.

The Sooners earned hosting rights for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament after getting a 3-seed. OU then went to work on filling up Lloyd Noble Center for the event, from hiding free tickets around Norman, to former Sooner star Trae Young buying tickets for local kids to attend.

OU didn't waste that home-court advantage with an 81-58 win against 14-seed Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday afternoon. And the Sooners did so in front of a full Lloyd Noble Center.

The reported attendance at Saturday's game was 8,006, a huge uptick from the 5,283 average in 16 home games this season.

Now, Sooner Nation will have to do it again on Monday. The Sooners will host the 6-seed Iowa Hawkeyes in the second round for the last game at Lloyd Noble Center until next season. The winner will advance to the Sweet 16.
