Saturday night was worth dancing about.

The Oklahoma Sooners finished the regular season with a 76-72 win against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday night in Austin. It wasn't just a Red River Rivalry victory, but the victory likely popped the Longhorns bubble while keeping the Sooners' NCAA Tournament dreams alive.

OU improved to 19-12 overall and 6-12 in SEC play while notching its sixth Quadrant 1 win. Despite the lackluster conference record, the Sooners' stout schedule is why they're still projected to make the NCAA Tournament.

The Sooners are the last team in the field of 68, according to Joe Lunardi's latest ESPN Bracketology. Lunardi also said OU should be just one win in the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament away from punching its ticket to the Big Dance.

All this seems surreal after everything Sooner Nation has witnessed this college basketball season. OU fans have witnessed blowouts, blown leads and even rock bottom after a home loss to lowly LSU. That might make this current unbelievable situation even sweeter for those who have stuck it out until March.

Sooner Nation basked in the moment Saturday night while enjoying a rivalry win and the real possibility of going dancing, especially the team and its coach.

Texas. Sucks.

Remember those losing streaks?
