Top 5 three-star recruits in Oklahoma football history

Everybody knows the 5-star guys. Adrian Peterson, Gerald McCoy, Jackson Arnold etc... Most of the time these guys pan out but every now and then a two or three-star recruit will come out of nowhere and dominate the scene. Who are the top-5, 3-star recruits in Oklahoma football history?

Murray looks like a 6-star... He signed with the Sooners out of Missouri City, TX (Elkins) with the class of 2017. He immediately made a massive impact on the Sooner program. During his storied career in Norman, Murray totaled 42 games (all starts), 335 total tackles (142 solo), 9 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Murray is tied for 11th in Oklahoma football history with his 335 total tackles (9th among linebackers).

Following his 2019 season, Murray received 2nd team All-American honors, first team All-Big 12 honors, and was named a semi-finalist for the Butkus and Bednarik awards. Following his career in Norman, Murray was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft by the LA Chargers. He is in Tennessee now, but so far in his career, he has totaled 321 total tackles (214 solo), 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 2 interceptions. Murray was also named to the All-Rookie team in 2020 while with the Chargers.
