Well, Big 12, it's been fun. As you know, Monday, July 1, marks the Oklahoma football program's and the rest of the University's first official day as a member of the Southeastern Conference. So today, instead of bickering or arguing why or why not the Sooners should leave, let's celebrate their Big 12 past by ranking the program's top-10 moments as a member of the Big 12.

7. December 2, 2000 - OU's first Big 12 title

In the 2000 Big 12 Championship Game, the Oklahoma Sooners secured a decisive 27-24 victory over the Kansas State Wildcats, cementing their undefeated season and their first conference title since 1987. Oklahoma's high-powered offense, led by quarterback Josh Heupel, amassed 384 total yards. Heupel threw for 220 yards and a touchdown, while running back Quentin Griffin contributed 84 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
