On November 22, 2014, Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine set the NCAA single-game rushing record with a breathtaking 427 yards on 34 carries in a 44-7 victory over Kansas. Perine's dominant performance included five rushing touchdowns and an average of 12.6 yards per carry. Breaking the previous record of 408 yards set by Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon just one week earlier, Perine showcased incredible power, vision, and endurance, leaving Kansas defenders in his wake. His historic day not only etched his name into the record books but also solidified his place in college football lore.
