Marcus Freiberger stood 6-foot, 11 inches and played at Oklahoma from 1948 to 1951. He averaged 9.4 points in three OU seasons. He best season was his senior year in 1950-51, when he averaged 16.0 points per game. Freiberger was a first-round pick of the Indianapolis Olympians, selected No. 3 overall, in the 1951 NBA Draft. He never played for the Olympians, however. Instead, he played for three different teams in the National Industrial Basketball League from 1951 to 1955. He was also a member of the United State's men's Olympic basketball team in 1952.
