Patty Gasso is looking to lead the Oklahoma softball program to its fourth straight national championship, but the Sooners nearly came up short in the semifinals. On Monday, after escaping 1-0 against UCLA over the weekend, Oklahoma fell to Florida 9-3, but the Gators had to beat the Sooners twice to end the dynasty.

The Sooners trailed 5-2 in the third but stormed back to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth and in the eighth, Jayda Coleman walked it off with a solo home run.

Now, Oklahoma will face the Texas Longhorns for the fifth time this season with a three-game series to determine the Women’s College World Series champion. So far, the season series is even at 2-2, but the Sooners took the most important one, winning the Big 12 tournament final 5-1 back on May 11.

Both the Sooners and the Longhorns are off to the SEC after this, but fittingly their final matchup as Big 12 foes in any sport will be with a national title on the line. Here’s how to watch it unfold in Game 1.
