The Oklahoma Sooners and Porter Moser will proceed to party.

The 14 seed OU men's basketball team beat 11 seed Georgia 81-75 in the first round of the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night. More importantly, other than advancing to the second round, the Sooners all but locked their spot in the NCAA Tournament with the win.

The Sooners are on a three-game winning streak that includes a top-15 upset, beating their biggest rival Texas on the road and their first-ever SEC tournament win. Someone give Moser a red solo cup.

With the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament being in Nashville, the home of country music, Moser honored his friend and Sooner Nation icon Toby Keith.

Keith was one of the most famous and loyal OU fans before his death just over a year ago. OU honored Keith during a basketball game shortly after his death, and Sooner Nation this past football season sang Keith's songs at the start of the fourth quarter.

Over a year later, Moser felt the trip to Nashville was another fitting time to honor Keith since it might be the only city Keith is more beloved in than Norman.

To punctuate his checker suit, which he's now 4-0 in this season, Moser wore special Toby Keith shoes with a stars and stripes Nike swoosh and camo trim with a signature from Toby Keith himself on the toes.

The Sooners will be in Nashville at least one more night to play 6 seed Kentucky at 8:30 p.m. CT Thursday.
