It was already confirmed on Saturday that the Oklahoma women would get to host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament in Norman as a top-4 seed for the second year in a row, but the Sooners' entire March Madness path was unveiled on Selection Sunday.
After going 24-7 to this point, the Sooners earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament to get up to two home games at Lloyd Noble Center. No. 5 Michigan State, No. 12 Colorado State and No. 13 Idaho will join the Sooners in the Norman Region, which tips off on Friday. The winner of the group will make the Sweet 16 and head to Sacramento, California.
Sooners get March Madness path
The Sooners will first get Idaho, which won a program-record 29 games this season and won the Big Sky Tournament to punch its ticket. That will pit Michigan State and Colorado State together in the other first-round matchup, with the winners of both meeting with a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line.
South Carolina got the top seed in OU's corner of the bracket, which is who would likely be waiting for the Sooners in the Sweet 16. The Sooners already beat South Carolina 94-82 in overtime earlier this season in Norman. The Gamecocks lost to Texas 78-61 in their last outing in the SEC Tournament final.
The rest of the top teams in Regional 4 includes No. 2 Iowa and No. 3 TCU. It also includes fellow SEC team No. 7 Georgia.

The Sooners made it to the Sweet 16 last year after winning a pair of games in Norman to get there. OU then lost to eventual national champion UConn, which is again a No. 1 seed and could meet the Sooners for a rematch if they both make it to the Final Four in Phoenix.
