The Oklahoma Sooners have a chance to upset another top-15 team, but they'll have to accomplish the feat shorthanded.
The Sooners host No. 15 Kentucky at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in Norman with a lengthy injured list, which feels like the new norm in Oklahoma, especially along the offensive line.
Here is OU's injury report for its Week 7 matchup with Kentucky, which includes who has to fill in because of the injuries, and will be updated until kickoff as more updates come in.
WR Parker Livingstone: OUT
Wide receiver Parker Livingstone played the entire game against his old team last week and even celebrated with the Pride of Oklahoma afterward, so it was a shock when his name popped up on the availability report this week. He hasn't done much since transferring from Texas, though, with six receptions for 51 yards.
Replacement: Livingstone being on the sideline will make Elijah Thomas WR2 behind Isaiah Sategna, and Manny Choice should also get more opportunities after catching a pass in the past two games.
RB Xavier Robinson: OUT
Running back Xavier Robinson was immediately ruled out on Wednesday's report after being a surprise injury last week and missing the Red River Rivalry. Even before he missed time, Robinson had let his role as RB2 slip away to freshman Jonathan Hatton Jr.
Replacement: Without Robinson and Tory Blaylock also banged up, the Sooners might be forced to feed Lloyd Avant and Hatton, which is exactly what most OU fans have been wanting. Unleash Avant and give Hatton the ball only when Avant needs a breather so he can get in a groove.
CB Eli Bowen: OUT
Starting cornerback Eli Bowen will miss his second game in a row. He's a veteran star, but the Sooners realized last week that they have some reliable depth at corner.
Replacement: Sophomore Trystan Haynes made his first career start in the Red River Rivalry while filling in for Bowen. He was outstanding on the big stage with seven tackles and will have an easier task on Saturday.
OL Eddy Pierre-Louis: DOUBTFUL
Eddy Pierre-Louis was sidelined last week, and it looks like he will be again. He started the first three games of the season at left guard before Heath Ozaeta jumped him on the depth chart against Georgia.
OL Heath Ozaeta: DOUBTFUL
Speaking of Heath Ozaeta, though, he could also be out after earning a spot in the starting lineup again in the past two games. That obviously leaves the Sooners thin at guard.
Replacement: Without Pierre-Louis and Ozaeta, sophomore Peyton Joseph, a transfer from Georgia Tech, will likely get his first career start. Freshman Noah Best will be at the other guard spot after starting every game of his young career so far.
OL Michael Fasusi: DOUBTFUL
All signs point to the Sooners being without starting left tackle Michael Fasusi for the fourth game in a row. We haven't seen him on the field since he injured his shoulder in the first quarter of OU's season opener. There was hope that Fasusi could return when he was initially listed as questionable on the availability report.
Replacement: Ryan Fodje will once again replace Fasusi at left tackle. Fodje's natural position is right guard, but he's yet to play there this season after missing Week 1 and filling in for Fasusi since.
