Lloyd Noble Center won't necessarily be a safe place for the Oklahoma Sooners during the 2025-26 men's basketball season for Year 2 in the SEC.

The SEC on Wednesday released conference schedules for every member, and the Sooners' schedule is, once again, absolutely loaded. OU won't even get any breaks in Norman, as all nine visiting SEC opponents made the NCAA Tournament last year and five made it to at least the Sweet 16.

SEC releases Sooners' conference schedule

A stacked slate was expected after the SEC had a record 14 teams in the NCAA Tournament last season, including the national champions Florida Gators, who the Sooners will host on Jan. 13 or 14 for a midweek clash.

The Sooners' other home opponents include Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Auburn and Missouri. That home date with Ole Miss will be the Sooners' SEC opener on Jan. 3.

OU will travel to Mississippi State, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, LSU and Texas.

Each conference team also got three opponents it will play twice during the season for a home-and-home series. The Sooners once again got Texas, Missouri and Texas A&M. Also like last season, the Sooners will conclude the regular season with a trip to Austin to play the Longhorns.

Specific days for some midweek games will be announced later by the SEC. Times and TV info will also be revealed later.

On Tuesday, OU also announced a game against Gonzaga on Nov. 8 in Spokane, Washington. The Sooners had it easy last year while getting through their nonconference slate unscathed, but they could be tested all the way through in 2025-26 to be better prepared for that SEC gauntlet and the postseason.
