The Oklahoma Sooners' 2026 recruiting class could do a lot of growing in the coming days.
Dallas Dickerson, a 2026 wide receiver, recently set a commitment date for Tuesday after narrowing down his choices to OU, Kentucky and Georgia Tech. If Dickerson does choose the Sooners, it shouldn't be OU's only addition next week after hosting its ChampU BBQ recruiting event this weekend.

Dallas Dickerson sets commitment date
Dickerson isn't expected to attend the ChampU BBQ after already taking his official visit to OU on June 6 after the Sooners just offered him last month. He visited Kentucky last weekend and Georgia Tech on May 30.
Other offers for Dickerson included Florida, Indiana, Kansas State, Wisconsin, Duke, Cincinnati, NC State, West Virginia and several Group of Five programs.
Dickerson, listed at 6-foot-1, is a three-star recruit out of North Oconee High School in Georgia. However, Rivals has Dickerson as a four-star prospect and the No. 54 receiver in the class. According to the 247Sports Composite, Dickerson is the No. 82 receiver in the 2026 class.
Rivals' Future Cast predicts Dickerson to choose OU and become the Sooners' second 2026 receiver. Four-star WR Daniel Odom committed to OU on Jan. 28, but the Sooners could lose Odom after his childhood friend, quarterback Jaden O'Neal, just backed off his pledge to OU.
Overall, OU's 2026 group is down to nine players after losing two commits this week. The loss of O'Neal on Thursday dropped the Sooners from No. 18 to 22nd in On3's recruiting rankings. It was an even further drop from 247Sports, going from 37th to No. 53.
