All of a sudden, the Oklahoma Sooners had to play the LSU Tigers without wide receiver Keontez Lewis.
Lewis was not listed on the SEC Availability Report at all this week, including on game day, ahead of the No. 8 Sooners' regular-season finale against LSU, but all of a sudden it was revealed the Sooners wouldn't have Lewis against the Tigers on Saturday.

As a redshirt senior, Lewis participated in OU's pregame Senior Day ceremony, but he was dressed in street clothes instead of a uniform when he was honored. It was the first sign of the Sooners not having Lewis for their regular-season finale. By SEC rule, any contributing player not expected to play is supposed to be listed on the SEC Availability Report before the game.
Lewis has already missed three games this season because of injury before playing in the last two. He started in the first six games of the season and came off the bench against Alabama and Missouri after returning from injury.
A transfer from Southern Illinois over the offseason, Lewis emerged as an asset for the Sooners this season. In eight games, he has 20 catches for 238 yards and two touchdowns. He caught nine passes for 119 yards and two TDs in his OU debut Week 1 against Illinois State.
Javonnie Gibson has been starting over Lewis as the Sooners' X receiver, but expect Ivan Carreon to get more playing time with Lewis out.
Lewis wasn't the only last-minute surprise involving the final SEC Availability Report. Former OU wide receiver Nic Anderson had been listed as out all week on LSU's report, but he was all of a sudden removed from the list on the game day report.
