The Oklahoma Sooners' coaching staff has been extremely busy with building for the future of OU football.

Summer nearing means everything is heating up, especially recruiting in college football. The Sooners this week made the top group for a pair of 2026 defensive prospects and also extended four offers between Monday and Tuesday.

Here's a look at every known player the Sooners offered this week.

Sooners extend four offers to high school recruits

Daniel Norman, DE

Of the four, Daniel Norman was the first to announce his OU offer on Monday.

Norman sounds like he belongs at OU. He's a three-star defensive end from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 247Sports Composite ranks Norman as the No. 41 edge rusher in the 2026 class and No. 61 overall prospect in the state of Florida, where talent is around every corner.

247Sports' Crystal Ball currently predicts Norman to stay in the state and play for Miami. He also has offers from LSU, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Penn State, UCLA, Georgia Tech and more.

Luke Starcevic, DL

The Sooners got an early jump on Luke Starcevic, who's a part of the 2027 class.

Starcevic plays tight end and on the line on both sides of the ball for Kindred High School in North Dakota, but he's been recruited as a defensive tackle at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds as a sophomore in high school.

There's already a long list of programs after Starcevic, including Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas, Michigan State, Minnesota, Washington and more. That group will continue to inflate during his junior season.

Starcevic is a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports and On3. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the top prospect in North Dakota and No. 7 defensive lineman in the 2027 class.

Quentin Hale, WR

Quentin Hale is also a quickly rising prospect in the 2027 class.

Hale is a four-star wide receiver from Cathedral High School in Los Angeles. He's the No. 16 wide receiver in the 2027 class and No. 9 recruit in California, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Hale already has an impressive list of offers from Tennessee, USC, Arizona State, North Carolina, Penn State, UCLA, Utah, Washington and more.

Tyler Ruxer, TE

The Sooners and Joe Jon Finley are trying to get ahead of not having another tight end issue.

OU offered 2026 consensus three-star tight end Tyler Ruxer from Heritage Hills High School in Indiana. According to the 247Sports Composite, Ruxer is the No. 23 tight end in the class and No. 2 prospect in Indiana.

Ruxer also holds offers from Minnesota, Purdue, Duke, Baylor, Northwestern, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa, Louisville, West Virgina and more. OU is his first and only SEC offer so far.

The Sooners already have one tight end committed from the 2026 class in Ryder Mix, who Rivals rates as a four-star recruit. Mix pledged to OU last summer.
