Jake Kreul has become a frequent visitor of Norman, Oklahoma.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 reported Thursday that Kreul, a 2026 defensive end, has scheduled five official visits for this summer, including to Oklahoma on June 20, which will be his last stop. Kreul's other official visits include Colorado (May 2), Ohio State (May 30), Florida (June 7) and Texas (June 13).

This could essentially be considered Kreul's final five school choices, barring a late push from a different program. He also had reported offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC and plenty others.

Kreul hales from national powerhouse IMG Academy in Florida, where he recorded 39 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and six sacks in nine games last season as a junior, according to MaxPreps.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, Kreul is the No. 4 edge rusher in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He's also ranked as the No. 31 overall prospect and No. 3 in the state of Florida.

ESPN recently upgraded Kreul to five stars, while every other major recruiting service still has him with four.

The Sooners have been putting a lot of time and effort into landing Kreul. OU offered him last July and has been in close contact ever since. Kreul was in Norman not long ago in April on an unofficial visit and has made multiple trips to OU. However, recruits are allowed only one official visit per school. OU's coaching staff has also visited Kreul in Florida, including in January.

The Sooners currently have four commits from the 2026 and all are offensive players.
