This time, the Oklahoma Sooners got Keeley Parks to stay home.

Parks, from Norman, announced on Monday morning that she committed to the Sooners out of the Transfer Portal after one year at Kansas. She will have three years of eligibility still left at OU.

Keeley Parks commits to OU after transferring from Kansas

Parks, listed at 5-foot-11, was nearly a Sooner a year ago and never left Norman. She ultimately chose Kansas after also visiting OU, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Baylor and North Carolina. She also had offers from LSU, Arizona, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, Ohio State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Parks was the top player in the state of Oklahoma for the 2025 class as a five-star recruit out of Norman High School, where she averaged 25.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.1 steals and 3.6 assists as a senior. She was the No. 4 shooting guard in the country and No. 23 overall prospect.

Parks was just one of multiple top 2025 recruits from Oklahoma already in the Transfer Portal, including fellow five-stars Avery Hjelmstad (Utah), McKenzie Mathurin (Michigan) and Janiyah Williams (Oregon).

Multiple injuries limited Parks' opportunity as a freshman during her lone season at Kansas. She appeared in 16 games while making nine starts and averaging 16.8 minutes. Parks averaged 5.1 points and shot 33.9% from three-point range with 20 makes, which was more than one a game. Although a small sample size, it's still enough to show that Parks can help fix the Sooners' three-point problem.

After losing only sophomore guard Zya Vann, also from Oklahoma, so far to the Transfer Portal, Parks' addition makes the Sooners even with the portal at this point. Head coach Jennie Baranczyk still has holes left to fill, though, especially at center with Raegan Beers graduating. This might be the Sooners' first portal gain of the cycle, but it certainly won't be the last.
