For the first time this season, there aren’t any game day surprises for who the Oklahoma Sooners will be without when they take the field.

Oklahoma vs. Auburn injury report
After a startling initial report on Wednesday, Friday evening’s report was a lot cleaner for the Sooners, with no players listed as questionable and no one unexpected listed as out.

The Sooners will for sure be without offensive linemen Troy Everett, Jacob Sexton and Jake Taylor, as well as defensive back Jeremiah Newcombe, against Auburn. All four were already listed as out on the initial report, and Brent Venables announced on Tuesday that Everett, a center, will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Listed as doubtful, the Sooners will also likely be without wide receiver Javonnie Gibson and defensive back Eli Bowen. Neither have played yet this season after suffering offseason injuries.
Defensive end R Mason Thomas is healthy, but is suspended the first half because of a targeting call last week against Temple. The Sooners will at least have starter Marvin Jones Jr. on the other edge. Jones was listed as questionable until being completely off the report Friday evening.
Offensive linemen Febechi Nwaiwu, Michael Fasusi and Jake Maikkula were all listed as probable, so they’re not only expected to play, but the trio should all start.
This is the closest to full strength the Sooners have been so far this season. OU can also put out the same starting offensive line combo it used to beat Michigan in Week 2. The Sooners allowed just one sack that game against one of the best defenses they will face this season. However, the run game (other than with quarterback John Mateer and an extra blocker) was still subpar.
The final availability report of the week will be released 90 minutes before the Sooners and Tigers kick off on Saturday.
