March also has recruiting madness for the college football world.
As college football programs are a full-go in assembling their 2026 recruiting classes, Brent Venables and the Oklahoma Sooners made a top group for another high-caliber prospect.
Consensus four-star defensive end Kevin Ford included OU in his final 12 school choices, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3. It's an impressive group that includes OU, Texas A&M, LSU, Penn State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, USC and Missouri.

Ford is a top-20 overall recruit in the state of Texas out of Duncanville High School. Rivals and 247Sports also rank Ford as a top-10 defensive end in the 2026 class, with Rivals putting him at No. 9.
The Sooners are still looking for their first defensive commitment from the 2026 class and really haven't had much luck yet on that side of the ball. Ford has been a name that has come up the most as a defender OU is after, but the Sooners are in a stiff competition with Alabama for Ford.
OU offered Ford last March and he's visited Norman multiple times since. His official visit to OU is schedule for June 20. His other official visits scheduled include Alabama, USC and Auburn.
Rivals predicts Ford to end up with the Sooners.
So far, the Sooners have four commitments from the 2026 class, all on the offensive side of the ball. The group includes quarterback Jaden O'Neal, wide receiver Daniel Odom, offensive lineman Will Conroy and tight end Ryder Mix.
