Oklahoma fans will once again have plenty of reasons to watch football not just on Saturdays (and a Friday), but also on Sundays and Mondays in 2026.
Final 53-man NFL rosters were set over the weekend, and 36 former OU players who ended their college careers as Sooners made the cut. At least at the start of the regular season, that's the eighth-most of any college football program, behind Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, LSU, Notre Dame and Texas, respectively.

Atlanta Falcons
Billy Bowman Jr. (CB)
Kendal Daniels (LB)
It seems the Atlanta Falcons are smartly raiding Brent Venables' defense for players with back-to-back additions the past two years between safety Billy Bowman Jr. and rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels. Bowman, though, tore his Achilles near the end of last season and missed all of training camp, but he's not starting the season on the PUP list, which is great news for him and the Falcons as their expected starting nickelback.
Baltimore Ravens
Mark Andrews (TE)
Mark Andrews enters his ninth year looking for a bounceback season after failing to reach 500 receiving yards in 2025 for the first time in his career.
Chicago Bears
Neville Gallimore (DT)
Neville Gallimore just got to Chicago this offseason, and hopefully he sticks there after being part of five franchises in seven years as an NFL journeyman.
Cincinnati Bengals
Samaje Perine (RB)
Orlando Brown Jr. (OT)
The ageless wonder, Samaje Perine is still carrying the football at 30 years old and is entering his 10th NFL season. Orlando Brown Jr. will help pave the way for him.

CeeDee Lamb was banged up most of last season and still recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth season in a row. Now healthy, he could reassert himself as one of the best receivers in the league if anyone has forgotten.

Nik Bonitto (LB)
Nik Bonitto has emerged as not only one of the top pass rushers in the NFL, but one of the best defenders period. He'll be an early candidate for NFL Defensive Player of the Year as a two-time Pro Bowler in four seasons so far.
Houston Texans
Febechi Nwaiwu (OG)
It was a surprise when the Texans jumped on Febechi Nwaiwu in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Now, he's their backup right guard and can play anywhere needed along the offensive line.
Indianapolis Colts
Deion Burks (WR)
It didn't look like Deion Burks would make the 53-man roster as a seventh-round draft pick, but here he is after the Colts decided to keep six receivers.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Anton Harrison (OT)
A former first-round pick, Anton Harrison is entering his fourth season in Jacksonville.
Kansas City Chiefs
Creed Humphrey (C)

Ethan Downs (LB) - IR
Once again, the largest Sooner presence is in Kansas City, with three players active and Ethan Downs out for the season but still around. Creed Humphrey and James Winchester are Chiefs staples at this point, but there might not be a rookie Chiefs Kingdom is more excited about than R Mason Thomas.
Las Vegas Raiders

A former seventh-round pick who was waived even before his first NFL season, Jonah Laulu has made the most of his opportunity in Las Vegas and started 15 games last year.
Los Angeles Chargers
Tony Jefferson (S)
Another ageless wonder, Tony Jefferson just barely made the 53-man roster for his 12th season. It was actually initially reported the Chargers cut him, but then they changed their mind about the veteran. It's amazing to think this guy played for Bob Stoops, and that was two coaches ago for the Sooners.
Minnesota Vikings

For the first time since going No. 1 overall in 2019, Kyler Murray is not an Arizona Cardinal. Murray has a lot to prove after winning the starting job, but probably has more talent around him than he ever has before.
New England Patriots

Rhamondre Stevenson will be in a backfield committee again in 2026, but last season, that rushing duo helped get the Patriots to the Super Bowl. New England is a contender again this year.
New Orleans Saints

Even though he played just 53 snaps last season, Danny Stutsman has become a fan favorite in New Orleans, just like he was in Norman, and Who Dat Nation wants to see more of him in 2026.

Robert Spears-Jennings was on the chopping block, but did just enough to make the roster as a rookie.
San Francisco 49ers

Gracen Halton has already shown during the preseason that the 49ers got an absolute steal with him in the fourth round this past April. Now, we get to see just how disruptive he can be, and maybe no one is more pumped about that than fellow Sooner Trent Williams.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield (QB)
This could be Baker Mayfield's final season in Tampa after an offseason of failed contract negotiations that has the veteran QB feeling undervalued. However, OU fans know better than anyone, a Mayfield out to prove something is the best version of Baker Mayfield.
Tennessee Titans
Jaren Kanak (TE) - IR
Jaren Kanak's rookie season ended before it even got going after tearing his pec in his preseason debut. He's out for the season after undergoing surgery.
Washington Commanders
