Sooner fans didn't have any Oklahoma football to watch on Saturday, but they did at least get to enjoy Texas suffer.
The Longhorns lost to Georgia and its backup quarterback 22-19 in overtime of the SEC Championship Game. With only one arm needed, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck came back in to hand the ball off to Trevor Etienne for a 4-yard walk-off touchdown run.
Texas has lost twice to Georgia this season, as the Bulldogs secured a first-round bye in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff. The Longhorns, meanwhile, will have to wait and see where they're seeded with a resume that includes an 11-2 record without a win over a team currently ranked inside the top 25.
As the Texas fallout ensued, obviously Sooner fans enjoyed the moment and rubbed it in on social media. And so did Georgia fans, as well.
Yes, we just went through the entire Texas student section flipping their towels upside down 🤘⬇️ pic.twitter.com/gyZxm6Mvhy

There was a time Texas fans had hope, though. And that made it sweeter.
This game is not close and idiots watching the scoreboard only are gonna be yapping. Remind them Texas is gonna turn the heat up in the 2nd half #SECChampionship

Narrator: "Texas did not."
And then Texas went full Big 12 and lost to a backup QB.
Back up QB in the Championship game. Texas is toast.

Nothing says you’re a Big 12 team like losing to a backup quarterback.

And the rest is history as the Longhorns will still be looking for their first ranked win in the College Football Playoff. Is Texas a fraud?
Welcome to the conference Texas, you’re right on pace with Mizzou coming over from the Big 12 pic.twitter.com/YeToqLpK7R

Oklahoma: 11
Texas: 4
Conference championship game losses:
Texas: 4
Oklahoma: 1
Not every program is built to win championships
Texas’ best win is against an unranked 8-4 Texas A&M team that lost 3 of its last 4 games pass it on

Oh no, Longhorns are imploding.
Something needs to change. Not sure what it is. But something

Falling for an obvious fake punt
An unimaginable amount of pre snap penalties
They just didn’t want it
