There were already tackles and bad throws at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday even before the Oklahoma Sooners kicked off against the LSU Tigers.

OU and LSU players were on Owen Field, but they hadn't started playing yet while still in pregame warmups. However, there was already action in the stands as tempers flared early, especially for one particular OU fan and some LSU staffers.

OU fan scuffles with LSU staffers pregame in viral video

A viral video showed an OU fan get in a pregame scuffle with a pair of LSU staffers up in the bleachers of Memorial Stadium all over a football and trying to keep the tradition of chunking the ball out of the stadium.

The ball was likely kicked into the stands by an LSU kicker warming up, and with no net up behind the end zone, the ball ended up in the crowd, and ultimately, in the hands of an OU fan.

One LSU staffer was already trying to pry the football from the fan's arms when the video started as the second entered the situation to plea for the ball back before also trying to rip the ball away. Then, with the ball still high and tight, the OU fan grabbed the leg of the LSU staffer before executing the type of form tackle that was taught on the first day of high school football practices.

Another OU fan tried to talk some sense into his fellow member of Sooner Nation after the tackle, but his influence wasn't as strong as the alcohol that was obviously consumed.

After one of the LSU staffers again tried to punch the ball loose, the unruly OU fan threw a complete duck several rows up. Even after one LSU staffer ran up the stairs to fetch the ball, the other staffers, as another all of a sudden showed up, were still about to brawl with the fan before security finally dispersed the situation.

It appeared the OU fan was rightfully escorted out and didn't even get to watch a snap of the game.

Obviously this scenario doesn't reflect the rest of Sooner Nation, but thanks to this fan, rival fan bases jumped on the opportunity to take shots at all OU fans.
