Watching the Oklahoma Sooners play baseball got better for Sooner Nation.

OU on Wednesday announced fan experience enhancements at L. Dale Mitchell Park for the upcoming baseball season, including upgrades to concessions and seating. OU's press release said the new additions are in response to fan feedback after the Sooners hosted an NCAA tournament regional last season.

OU will debut a shaded patio in right field named "Section 405." The section will include 126 chairback seats that will be sold via single-game tickets for $15. Other new seating options at the stadium include four loge boxes at the upper concourse of the first- and third-base lines and two remodeled suites on the first-base side.

The new suites are included in the newly renovated press box and will hold 9-12 fans with a TV and the option for food in the suite.

Concessions were also improved with the new enhancements. There will be new options, including Dickey's Barbecue Pit, Psycho Taco, HTeaO and Kona Ice at the concessions on the upper concourse.

Drink rails were also added to the upper concourse where fans can stand and watch the game.

OU said in its release that it also still plans to renovate the stadium in the future. These enhancements are just to make immediate upgrades.

The Sooners will start their season with a weekend series against Lehigh at 4 p.m. CT Friday, Feb. 14, at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Other notable visitors to Norman this season include Mississippi State, LSU, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Texas.
