The Sooners' top Transfer Portal target to replace Raegan Beers at center is headed to Oklahoma, but to Stillwater instead of Norman.
Iowa State transfer Audi Crooks announced late Sunday night her commitment to Oklahoma State for her final season after the Sooners were also in the mix. Crooks was reportedly in the Sooner State over the weekend to visit both sides of Bedlam before ultimately choosing the Cowgirls. With that decision, OU head coach Jennie Baranczyk now has to reset the Sooners' mission to find a starting center to replace Beers.

The Sooners were early frontrunners to land Crooks among women's college basketball blue bloods before Oklahoma State suddenly appeared as a surprise threat. Crooks, listed at 6-foot-3, was one of the top prospects in the portal this cycle as a two-time All-American and three-time All-Big 12 selection during her three years at in-state Iowa State.
This past season, Crooks was second in the country with 25.8 points a game while shooting 64.9% from the floor and also averaging 7.7 rebounds. Her 61.1% career field-goal percentage is fifth all-time in Big 12 history.
Beers was also a massive transfer get for the Sooners in 2024 after two years at Oregon State. Beers was a two-time All-American honorable mention and two-time All-SEC First-Team selection during her two years with the Sooners. She averaged 15.8 points and 10.4 rebounds this season as a senior while totaling 67 double-doubles in her career.

The Sooners also lost backup center Beatrice Culliton to graduation, leaving freshman Daffa Cissoko, who has appeared in just eight games, as the only returning center on the roster. That left OU with no viable option at center heading into 2026-27, forcing Baranczyk to use the portal.
Beers will be nearly impossible to replace, but Crooks was probably the Sooners' best chance at doing so. Now, unless she decides on rolling with a smaller lineup, Baranczyk still needs to add at least one more center from the portal after missing out on her top option.
