Just like he did at Oklahoma, Baker Mayfield has also won over everybody in Tampa Bay.
Actor and comedian Kevin Hart recently interviewed Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans and asked Evans about his quarterback as Mayfield enters his third season with the Bucs.
"Huge impact (on Evans' career). He's a big reason to why I came back," Evans said. "The energy that he's brought to Tampa after Tom (Brady) -- that's some huge shoes to fill, huge act to follow -- and I think he's done an unbelievable job, winning two division championships, making it to the postseason.
"But Tampa's in great hands with Baker. I'm sure he'll play much longer than I will. I'm looking forward to a great season this year and competing for a Super Bowl."

Mike Evans praises Baker Mayfield to Kevin Hart
Mayfield revitalized his NFL career in Tampa as the Bucs were in need of a new quarterback after Tom Brady's retirement. Even after losing the greatest quarterback in NFL history in Brady, the Bucs still didn't skip a beat thanks to Mayfield.
In two years in Tampa, Mayfield has led the Bucs to an NFC South divisional title and to the NFL Playoffs both seasons. Last season, he made his second straight Pro Bowl. Mayfield finished the regular season with career-highs in passing yards with 4,500 and passing touchdowns with 41. Only Brady has thrown more touchdown passes in a season than Mayfield for the Bucs.
Before getting to Tampa, Mayfield split time between the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams in 2022 after getting replaced and traded by the Cleveland Browns. The Browns took Mayfield with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft after his historical career at OU.
A presumed short-term filler in Tampa, Mayfield has instead taken over as the Bucs' new franchise quarterback after Brady.
