It's a video that's going viral and understandably so. On Saturday, Oklahoma football suffered a deflating loss to Ole Miss. Ben Arbuckle is getting called out for some terrible play calls, while people are disappointed with how John Mateer looked.
How could things get worse for the Sooners? Leave it to Lane Kiffin to have people in Norman even more angry. Shortly after the final whistle, Kiffin was caught talking trash to Oklahoma defensive lineman David Stone.
Ben Arbuckle's questionable game plan turns Oklahoma fans against him
Can't say we're surprised, as Kiffin is never one to shy away from saying what's on his mind. Still, a head coach trying to embarrass a player with the cameras rolling? Come on, Lane. Apparently Kiffin didn't think it was a big deal, as he doubled down on things while speaking to the press:
Asked Lane Kiffin about this postgame: "That's just me. He was talking the whole game to me. I did a good job, I felt, of not talking back. He kept telling me you ain't going to score and all this. I didn't go try to find him. He was just walking by. That's just kind of me." https://t.co/cG43p82ke6

Lane Kiffin talking trash to David Stone was a bad look for him and Ole Miss
We might be a little biased here, but can you imagine how angry people would be if Brent Venables pulled this same kind of move on an Ole Miss player? Folks would be calling him unprofessional and more. Luckily, this is something the Oklahoma faithful don't have to worry about.
Kiffin gets away with this because 'that's just me' and everyone loves his bubbling personality. Sure, have some fun after a win, but claiming he had the right to talk back to Stone because he was talking some smack throughout the game? Be the bigger man, Kiffin.
At the end of the day, he's the head coach of an SEC team and not a player. Unfortunately, this wouldn't even be a topic of conversation had the Sooners gotten the job done and handed the Rebels a loss. Ole Miss made the plays late and the same can't be said for Oklahoma.
With the loss, the Sooners are now 6-2 on the year and their hopes of reaching the College Football Playoff are on the respirator. With a loss to Tennessee next week in Knoxville, the lights will be turned off for Mateer and his teammates on reaching the CFP. Ole Miss doesn't have that same problem and until the Rebels get taken down again, Kiffin is surely going to keep on talking - though we wish he'd stop.
