Although he wore a crimson jersey for just one season, Jeremiah Fears will always be a Sooner and represent Oklahoma.

On the biggest night of his young life, Fears on Wednesday repped the Sooners by wearing a crimson Gucci suit to the 2025 NBA Draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The inside of the suit featured pictures from big moments in Fears' career, including from after his first 30-point game in college. Fears capped the look with silver chains of his last name and No. 0, plus black Gucci shoes.

Fears explained the reasoning and details behind his fit in an interview with ESPN's Marc Spears.

"I wanted to go with a little crimson, because that's my OU color," Fears said. "I wanted to kind of represent, especially on a big day like this. I wouldn't be in this position without Oklahoma and the great coaching staff we had."

On a night fashion takes center stage in sports, Fears certainly impressed on the NBA Draft red carpet.

Fears is a projected top-10 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft after a stellar freshman season at OU. His college career with the Sooners started a year early after he reclassified from the 2025 class to 2024, making him one of the youngest college basketball players this past season and NBA Draft prospects. Theoretically, he should be preparing for his first college basketball season, but instead, he's about to be a rookie in the NBA.

Even as an underaged freshman competing in the Sooners, Fears led the Sooners with 17.1 points a game. His game elevated as the season progressed and he cut down his turnovers at point guard. His play down the stretch ultimately got the Sooners into the NCAA Tournament for the first time under Porter Moser.
