Jeremiah Fears’ Oklahoma homecoming was far from welcoming.

Fears, who played for the Sooners last season for his only year of college basketball, made his second trip back to the Sooner State on Tuesday night as his New Orleans Pelicans lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-95. Fears was solid off the bench with seven points, two rebounds and an assist, but his viral moment with Lu Dort left him leaving the court to boos at Paycom Center from many fans who were probably cheering him on this time last year down the road at Lloyd Noble Center.

Jeremiah Fears scuffles with Lu Dort after Thunder-Pelicans game

Officials let the game get out of hand all night, but the breaking point was when Fears went up for a late shot and Lu Dort wasn't called for a foul after grabbing him on his way up on the final play of the game. Fears immediately turned toward Dort, who then pushed Fears multiple times to blow the roof off the place.

The two ended up with their hands going after the other's throat as both benches cleared to create a massive scrum on the court. Teammates and staff eventually pulled the two off of each other.

Fears was absolutely livid about the situation and had to be dragged off the court while still in a rage. Fans booed as Fears got to the tunnel and was still needing to be held back after getting all the way into the hallways of the arena.

More videos of the situation showed the aftermath of the chaos.

Dort definitely started it all, but even OU fans agreed that Dort, who's built like a brick wall, is the last guy in the NBA that Fears wants to go after as he escalated the situation. However, just like his jersey states, he had no fear during or after.
