Oklahoma men's basketball forward Jalon Moore took time to share a heartfelt goodbye to Sooner Nation before moving on to whatever is next in his career and life.

Moore finished his career as a Sooner after spending his final two college seasons at OU. He ran out of eligibility after this season, with his career ultimately ending with the Sooners' loss to UConn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

On Thursday, Moore posted his thank yous and goodbyes on X.

"These past two years have been filled with so many unforgettable moments on and off the court," Moore wrote.

Moore went on to thank Jesus, head coach Porter Moser and the rest of OU's coaching staff, his teammates and Sooner Nation.

"You immediately embraced me with love and support and because of that I will be a Sooner for life," Moore continued. "I am ready to pursue this next chapter and I can't wait to see what God has planned for me."

Moore got to OU in 2023 after transferring from Georgia Tech, where he started his career and played two seasons. His opportunities and stats immediately skyrocketed once he got to Norman.

In 2023-24, Moore, a 6-foot-7 forward, averaged 11.2 points a game after averaging 7.6 the season before. This past season, Moore made another jump and averaged 15.9 points as the Sooners' leading scorer until late in the season after Jeremiah Fears heated up. He also averaged 5.8 rebounds and career-high 30.3 minutes.

What's next for Moore is still unknown. He's not a top NBA Draft prospect, but could still get a shot as an undrafted free agent or somewhere over seas if he wanted to continue his basketball career.
