Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are moving on.
As their quarterback, Hurts led the Eagles past the Green Bay Packers 22-10 on Sunday in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. The Eagles, the No. 2 seed in the NFC, now move on to the Divisional Round for the second time in four seasons with Hurts as starting quarterback.
The Eagles never trailed Sunday afternoon after jumping to a 10-0 start. The Packers fumbled the opening kickoff before Jalen Carter recovered it on Green Bay's 28-yard line.
Hurts & Co. made easy work of the great field possession when Hurts hit Jahan Dotson for an 11-yard TD three plays later. It was Hurts' first pass of the 2025 NFL Playoffs and put his team up 7-0 early.
It was a defensive showcase the rest of the way as Jake Elliott made a 31-yard field goal near the end of the first quarter and both teams were shut down in the second to put the Eagles ahead 10-0 at halftime.
After the Packers started second-half scoring with their first three points, Hurts then tallied his second TD of the day. This time, he found Dallas Goedert for a 24-yard TD pass to put the Eagles up 16-3 with 3:20 left in the third quarter.
The Eagles added a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter while the Packers found the end zone once thanks to a 1-yard run from Josh Jacobs to wrap things up.
Hurts finished the game completing 13 of 21 passes for 131 yards and those two TDs. One of those completions was a 4-yard pass to another former Sooner, Grant Calcaterra.
It was Hurts' first game back since suffering a concussion against the Washington Commanders on Dec. 22.
Hurts also carried the ball six times for 36 yards with another former OU player, Lane Johnson, paving the way for Hurts and keeping him upright on the offensive line.
The Eagles have made the playoffs all four seasons with Hurts as their starting quarterback, including a run to Super Bowl LVII. Philadelphia lost in the Wild Card the other two times before, though, making this the second time Hurts has led the Eagles at least this far.
