It will be nothing but top-10 matchups for the semifinals of the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament.
Four teams will play Saturday inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, for a chance to compete for a conference championship on Sunday. Every team that got this far in the tournament, even with 5 seed Oklahoma upsetting 4 seed Kentucky, is ranked in the top 10 of the Associated Press Top 25.
Top-seeded South Carolina, which is ranked No. 5, will play the Sooners, who just got back into the top 10 this week at No. 10. Despite being the No. 1 team in the country, Texas got the 2 seed amd will get 3 seed LSU, ranked ninth.
The winners of Saturday's battles will play for the SEC title at 2 p.m. CT Sunday.
Here's the schedule for the semifinals and how to watch both games.
How to watch semifinals
The Sooners avenged a loss to Kentucky only to be rewarded with a matchup against the top seed in its home state. South Carolina already beat OU 101-60 in January. The Sooners have turned a corner since then, though, and are on a nine-game winning streak as one of the hottest teams in the country.
Texas and LSU are both still pretty fresh after getting byes to the quarterfinals. The Longhorns won 65-58 when these two met during the season in Austin. The Tigers always seem to reach a new level during March Madness under Kim Mulkey, though.
