For the third time, the Oklahoma men's basketball team will try to get its first SEC win in program history.
The No. 17 Sooners will travel to Georgia for their third conference game of the season and still haven't won an SEC game yet. However, the Bulldogs will be the first unranked team on OU's conference slate so far, so maybe this is the Sooners' best shot.

Need to know
After a hot 13-0 start and climbing inside the top 10 of the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Sooners have dropped back-to-back contests against ranked teams since starting SEC play at the start of 2025.
A week ago, No. 5 Alabama hammered OU 107-79 in the Sooners' SEC debut. Then on Wednesday, OU led by as many as 18 points in the second half, but still squandered the lead and lost to No. 10 Texas A&M 80-78 in Norman.
The trip to Georgia will be only the Sooners' second true road trip of the season after the trek to Alabama. It will also be OU's first SEC matchup against an unranked team, but that doesn't mean Georgia should be taken lightly.
The Bulldogs are unranked but still receiving votes with a 13-2 record that matches OU. And Georgia just proved how dangerous it is with an 82-69 win over No. 6 Kentucky on Tuesday night. The Wildcats were coming off a victory against then-No. 6 Florida the Saturday before.
The Sooners' chances of winning go through freshman phenom Jeremiah Fears, who leads the Sooners with 17.6 points a game. Fears has scored double digits in every game of his young career so far. However, Brycen Goodine came off the bench against Texas A&M and put up a team-high 34 points.
