In what's become an annual tradition in Oklahoma, postseason college softball is back in the state.
The Oklahoma Sooners were given the third overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Softball Championship to once again never have to leave the Sooner State the rest of the season with a home Regional and Super Regional at Love's Field in Norman and the Women's College World Series just down the road in Oklahoma City. That makes life easier for OU fans to witness the Sooners' run to a hopefully ninth national title in person, but fans still don't have to miss a pitch of OU's postseason, even if they're not at Love's Field.
The Sooners will begin their NCAA Softball Championship by hosting Kansas, Michigan and Binghampton in the Norman Regional. Whoever is victorious in Norman will play the winner of the Eugene Regional between No. 14 overall seed Oregon, Mississippi State, Saint Mary's and Idaho State. As long as the Sooners survive, that Super Regional would be at Love's Field.

The Norman Regional begins Friday afternoon before a champion is crowned on Sunday. The Sooners will start things against Binghampton at 2:30 p.m. CT before Kansas and Michigan face off at 5 p.m. Saturday is then guaranteed three games to narrow down regional finalists, then it could be just one game on Sunday afternoon to determine who moves on.
The entire NCAA Softball Championship will be on the ESPN network, but specific channels will be announced as matchups are determined throughout the tournament. No matter what channel the Sooners play on, though, ESPN revealed Lowell Galindo and former Michigan pitcher Jennie Ritter will be on the call for the entire Norman Regional, so OU fans should brace themselves for some bias takes if the Sooners find themselves battling the Wolverines.
This full schedule with how to watch every game will be updated as matchups and channels are determined.
