The Oklahoma Sooners were gifted an extra home game in Norman after earning hosting rights as the No. 8 team in the College Football Playoff. The Sooners will host No. 9 Alabama on Friday night inside Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for a rematch in the first round of the CFP.

This is the biggest football game ever in Norman, considering it's the first time the Sooners have ever hosted a playoff game or a game with this much directly on the line. For those wanting to witness, or just wondering what it costs to be a part of history, here's everything to know regarding tickets for the Oklahoma-Alabama rematch.

How to buy tickets for Oklahoma-Alabama rematch in College Football Playoff

Tickets were initially made available to season ticket holders, then to the general public on OU's website through SeatGeek on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 9. Those tickets, though, are long gone after OU announced a sellout that same day, so now fans wanting to be in a seat at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium will have to look at second-hand sites.

How much are tickets to Oklahoma-Alabama rematch in College Football Playoff?

The cheapest original price for a ticket was $25 for students. The next was $150 for seats in the upper sidelines. The most expensive ticket was $375 in a suite. Other ticket prices included $325 (club), $250 (lower midfield), $200 (lower sidelines), and $160 (lower endzone). However, thanks to supply and demand, it could cost fans a lot more if they missed out on the first chance at tickets.

As of the start of game week on Monday according to Gametime, which compiles available tickets from multiple second-hand sites, the cheapest ticket available, based on needing two seats, was in Section 109 for $160. The most expensive ticket was up for $1,036 in Section 126 in the second row.

Most available seats would cost between $200-$450, rarely dipping below $200 or eclipsing $500, unless in a suite or club.
