At one point this season, six former Oklahoma quarterbacks were in starting roles on teams in the NFL. Those are just six of the 43 former Sooners who are currently on NFL rosters as the league enters Week 11.
Former OU players are represented on all but seven of the 32 NFL teams, with the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals all featuring four or more former Sooners.
The seven NFL teams without any former Sooner on their roster are the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans.
The Chiefs have the most Sooners on their roster with five: center Creed Humphrey, wide receiver Hollywood Brown, offensive lineman Wanya Morris, long-snapper James Winchester and defensive end Ethan Downs. All but Downs, who is on injured reserve, are on the active roster.
The Cowboys have four former Sooners in wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, offensive lineman Tyler Guyton, linebacker Kenneth Murray and defensive lineman Perrion Winfrey. All but Winfrey are active, with Winfrey on injured reserve.
The Broncos have two Sooners on the active roster with wide receiver Marvin Mims and linebacker Nik Bonitto, and two others are on injured reserve in offensive lineman Ben Powers and practice squad player defensive back DeLarrin Turner-Yell.
The Bengals' roster also includes four former OU players: offensive linemen Orlando Brown Jr. and Cody Ford, running back Samaje Perine and linebacker Brian Asamoah. Only Asamoah, who's on the practice squad, is not on the active roster.
The list of former Oklahoma players now toiling at the next level breaks down to 27 offensive players, 14 on defense and two on special teams. Position-wise, offensive linemen head the list with 11, followed by quarterback and defensive linemen (6 each) and linebacker (5).
