It was a full weekend of NFL action, from Thanksgiving to Monday Night Football, and former Sooners were stuffing the stat sheets. Here's a look at some standout performances from former Oklahoma players during Week 13 of the NFL season.

Denver Sooners

Monday Night Football was like a flashback to Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in 2021. Former, and now also current, teammates Nik Bonitto and Marvin Mims Jr. had the plays of the night in primetime on ESPN.

First, in the second quarter with his team trailing 10-7, Bonitto gave the Broncos the lead after intercepting Jameis Winston and returning it for a 71-yard touchdown. Bonitto, a linebacker, jumped in front of a pass and waltzed into the end zone untouched.

Only one other player scored a touchdown longer than Bonitto on Monday night, and it was his longtime teammate. Now with the Broncos ahead 21-17 thanks to Bonitto's pick-6, Bo Nix chunked it from his own end zone deep to Marvin Mims Jr. for a 93-yard touchdown. Based on full-point PPR scoring, Mims notched 16.3 fantasy football points on that play alone. The play converted a 3rd-and-11 into six points as Mims just flat out blew past the Browns' secondary.

Tampa Bay Sooners

It was a big weekend for Baker Mayfield between flag plantings and a win.

Mayfield led the Buccaneers on three potential game-winning or game-tying drives. Down 23-20 with only 30 second left in regulation in a divisional battle with the Carolina Panthers, Mayfield quickly led his offense down the field to set up a 51-yard field goal to send the game to overtime. During that last drive of regulation, Mayfield was 3-of-4 for 26 yards and had a 10-yard scramble out of bounds. And two of those three passes went to fellow former Sooner Sterling Shepard, who finished with four catches for 42 yards.

Once in OT, the Bucs got the ball first and Mayfield again got his team down the field, but the 55-yard field goal attempt was wide left. Tampa Bay got the ball back after Carolina fumbled, givin Mayfield the ball at his own 29-yard line. Mayfield then completed a 21-yard pass to Mike Evans before Rachaad White had a 38-yard carry that ultimately set up a game-winning 30-yard field goal.

Mayfield finished the game 21-of-33 for 235 yards and a TD with two interceptions.

At 6-6, the Buccaneers are tied with the Atlanta Falcons atop the NFC South. They will host the 2-10 Raiders on Sunday.

Remember Jalen Redmond?

Only a few months ago defensive tackle Jalen Redmond was playing under Bob Stoops for the Arlington Renegades in the UFL after being cut from the Carolina Panthers' practice squad as an undrafted free agent. But on Sunday, he was a hero for an NFL team.

The Minnesota Vikings were impressed enough by Redmond's performance in the UFL that they gave him a chance this season, and he's recently secured a roster spot. Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, Redmond recorded four total tackles and two tackles for loss in a close win. Both of his TFLs came in the fourth quarter.

And an even cooler moment afterward when Redmond's performance was good enough for the former UFL player and UDFA to get the game ball.
