Sooners travel to Alabama for top-25 SEC matchup
OU is coming off an 11-3 run-rule win over the No. 18 Oklahoma State Cowgirls in what was the only scheduled Bedlam game of the season. Last weekend, instead of an SEC series, OU hosted the Okana Invitational, and beat UCF and St. Thomas.
Overall, the Sooners are 35-3 thios season and 9-3 in SEC play. They're 3-3 in their last six SEC games, though,
Alabama, meanwhile, is 28-15 and coming off a conference series loss to LSU. The Crimson Tide are 1-3 in SEC series so far this season.
This SEC weekend series will start and finish later than usual with a different schedule. OU and Alabama will not start their three-game slate until Saturday instead of Friday, and the series will conclude on Monday. The schedule, though, did give the Sooners their second straight game on ESPN2.
